Target group

Regional studies active is designed for DaF at the Niveau A2/B1 level. The aim is to develop cultural and linguistic competence in DACH. Regional studies active is for people who are planning to spend some time in a German-speaking country. People who are already living in the target language country can also benefit from the book. In particular, the following groups of people have been considered:

  • Studentswho are preparing to study at a German-speaking university
  • so-called Expatswho are sent by their companies to a German-speaking country, as well as their families
  • Au pairswho would like to work in a German-speaking environment

Linguistic Niveau

The book can be used from Niveau A2 onwards both as a course support and as a course accompaniment.

  • Course-taking in courses that specifically prepare students for a stay abroad or in so-called conversation courses that are offered to students at foreign universities.
  • As part of any course, e.g. in courses for professionals who want to learn about the everyday culture of the DACH countries.
